![]() ![]() In the meantime, we can only try to be forgiving for so much that isn’t proceeding as smoothly as in other times before this virus. The workbooks are excellent, and when they do arrive I hope you will enjoy using them as much as I have enjoyed mine. This international virus-thing has caused problems left and right for everybody. I was promised “free shipping” and then was charged shipping for the replacement. The item not only took 11 days, but was first delivered to a complete stranger on the other side of the country (3,000 miles away). This is an excellent book that describes how the Affinity Software can be used to develop and enhance your photos taken with digital cameras. I’m working away from home and taking the printed books with me was never really an option. A large office item I ordered from a major corporation (for which I was billed immediately and charged to my credit card) was promised as “overnight” delivery. I really liked the old workbook and hope there will be updated versions for V2 And while I understand the reasoning behind the print-only approach, I would highly appreciate a digital version. Package deliveries promised as “overnight” can still take 4 days even after the Christmas season. Late shipping is not isolated to Serif! Here in the USA simple Christmas cards I mailed a distance of 650 miles this year took 19 days instead of 2. I believe myself as a supporter of Serif but this is not a nice commercial practice. Serif is late shipping the books but they seem very quick taking money from my credit card. Is there any way I can get an update on my order? Also, it would be wonderful if I could get a reply when placing an inquiry. If you have orders that are late, it would be very helpful to receive an email indicating there are issues, and some kind of new timeline when we can expect delivery. Those books have seriously been an invaluable asset and I will highly recommend them to anybody.I ordered the Affinity Photo Workbook on November 26th, to be delivered to a US address. And I’ve also found that if I get stumped (especially with photo), I can usually relate what’s holding me back to something that was gone over in the book, and I’m able to go back and look through that particular project and get the answer I’m looking for. The step by step instructions for the projects make it easy to sort of cement the steps in your brain. I don’t know maybe it’s my style of learning but the Affinity workbooks were a huge part in me mastering the programs. Every year when they come out with updates, pretty soon after the classroom in a book series comes out with an updated version, and every year I buy one.
